Vladimir R. Kostic is a researcher in the Computational Statistics and Machine Learning group at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Genova, Italy. He received his PhD in Numerical Mathematics in 2010 at University of Novi Sad, Serbia where he is also associate professor.
His scientific contributions are across the fields of Numerical Linear Algebra, Optimization, Machine Learning and include applications in
engineering, environmental sciences and ecology. Current interests are the in the areas of convex optimization, computational optimal transport, and machine learning for/of systems and control.
